Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA) is an integrated, urban health care system, providing care to the poor residing in Denver, Colorado. Strong community links exist between DHHA and the citizens of Denver, and the provision of care in a high quality, cost-effective, culturally sensitive manner is written into the DHHA mission statement. School-based health centers offer primary medical and behavioral health services to students.

  • Mark Anderson MD is a pediatrician who has worked at Denver Health’s Kids Care Clinic for over 6 years. His professional interests include environmental tobacco smoke and asthma triggers.

 

  • Andrea Wallace, RN has worked as a nurse-asthma specialist caring for children in the inner city of Denver. Her efforts have focused on education to mitigate environmental asthma in youth.
